Monica has split from her fiance, rapper Rodney ‘Rocko’ Hill, Jr.
The stars had been dating on and off since The Boy Is Mine hitmaker was 19 and they became engaged over the Christmas holidays in 2007, but the couple has since parted ways amid infidelity rumours levelled at the rapper.
Confirming the news on her Twitter.com blog, 29-year-old Monica writes, "Thank u everyone for all the love your (sic) sending. @Rocko4Real is a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children. The rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. Everyone makes mistakes... Even separated we will always be family."
