Snoop Dogg Not As Black As He Thinks He Is
Rapper Snoop Dogg discovered he's not as black as he thinks he is on late night TV in America on Thursday (15Jan10) - an official DNA test proved he's only 71 per cent sub-Saharan African.
The hitmaker agreed to swab his saliva prior to his appearance on chat show Lopez Tonight and was shocked with the genealogy results that came back.
He's six per cent European and 23 per cent Native American - but he has no Asian in him.
Stunned he wasn't more than 80 per cent African, he quipped, "We got to have a re-vote. This ain't right."
Funeral Arrangements For Soul Star Pendergrass
Funeral arrangements and a public viewing for soul star Teddy Pendergrass have been set after the hitmaker tragically died of colon cancer this week (13Jan10), aged 59.
The If You Don't Know Me By Now singer passed away at a hospital in his native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, eight months after he underwent surgery to treat the disease.
A public viewing is scheduled for next Friday (22Jan10) at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
The funeral will be held there the following day (23Jan10), with burial services at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in neighbouring Bala Cynwyd.
Pendergrass is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters and nine grandchildren.
