Kanye West's on/off girlfriend Amber Rose was completely upfront with the rapper about her racy past as a bisexual stripper - because she wanted their relationship to be based on complete honesty.
The couple began their romance earlier this year. They split briefly in June but subsequently reunited.
Rose admits she has been a fan of the Stronger hitmaker for several years, but refused to approach him while he was still engaged to his former fiancee Alexis Phifer.
She tells Complex magazine, "Well, my intentions when I met Kanye were to keep it very professional and we really started to like each other. He wanted me for his Robocop video and he had the utmost respect for me. I was always a huge fan of his but he had a fiancee, it wasn't like, 'Ah, I'm gonna get with Kanye.'"
West and Phifer ended their engagement in April 2008 and when Rose finally got together with the superstar, she was adamant about telling her new boyfriend all about her saucy past.
She adds, "Kanye knew my life, so when it was, 'Oh, Kanye do you know she was a stripper, that she used to date girls?' he was like, 'Tell me something I don't know.' They (critics) label me a bisexual freak stripper that beds Kanye on a daily basis. 'Amber Rose, the bisexual, dyke, freak,' whatever. I'm extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man."
