Promethee

Ascending metalcore crew 'Promethee' stake a claim with the national release of their debut full length album ‘Nothing Happens. Nobody Comes, Nobody Goes’, out on Monday 21st January 2013, through Bad Moon Records.

With influences spanning from ‘Architects’, ‘Darkest Hour’, and ‘The Faceless’, Promethee have forged an attractive and inventive take on the metal / metalcore genre.

Coming at you from Geneva, Switzerland, Promethee were born back in 2008 by three life time friends, Ludo, Nils, and Elric, who laid down the foundations for the band before recruiting Josh and Mathieu to complete their line up.

The aspiring noiseniks proceeded to play a number of shows throughout Switzerland, and by 2010, the five-some had also made their mark on France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Hungary, including an influential appearance at the Greenfield Festival playing alongside HIM, Rammstein, The Prodigy, and The Dillinger Escape Plan, among others.

True to their reputation for being incredibly active, Promethee continued to spread their wings and secured a mini-tour in Canada before releasing their debut EP which racked up critical acclaim throughout the UK and mainland Europe.

Now after the successful release for their recent single ‘Sickness Unto Death’, the band are set to release their new album 'Nothing Happens. Nobody comes, Nobody goes’.

The album is a mighty impressive piece of fierce metalcore that is vicious and original - no easy task given the current climate.

With a record that packs ten tracks of galloping metal melded with commanding hardcore and an abundance of groove, this debut album is sure to drop you to the floor, and is primed to break the band to the UK.
