Theory Of A Deadman
Theory Of A Deadman release new single Not Meant To Be on September 28th. The track, which is the 3rd single taken from current album Scars & Souvenirs, was co-written by Grammy nominated songwriter and American Idol superstar Kara DioGuardi.
When it came to working with Kara, Tyler was more than complementary about his co-writer: “Amazing. I went over to her place, drank some wine and we wrote ‘Not Meant To Be’ in 5 minutes. Our writing styles fit together so perfectly it was almost like it was ‘meant to be.’”
Kara adds, “The best part about my job is that you never know who you are going to meet, and who’s going to inspire you. Although I’d never worked with Tyler, when he started singing the song, I knew we were onto something special.”
Kara also stars in the accompanying video, which is available now for use online. A short documentary of the making of the video will be shown on the Roadrunner Records Website from Monday 14th September.
The band hit the UK later this month for a full headline tour. Tickets are on sale now, with the London, Manchester and Glasgow shows already having to be upgraded due to popular demand.
