Having A Bad Date? Use The Bad Date Rescue App
We’ve all been there, midway through a date questioning why we even bothered, thinking of a way to get out of it. Once again, technology has come to the rescue as a new app is created to get you out of a bad date, fast!
eHarmony have created the Bad Date Rescue App, which will allow you to fake an incoming call on your iPhone so that you can escape your date.
There are three default fake calls to choose from. You can have a call from your mum which will tell you that your sister is having a baby, or your neighbour calling to say a pipe has burst in your apartment.
For the workaholics amongst us, there’s even an option to have a call from your boss saying that he needs your help at the office urgently.
The fake call looks just as a real one would, the name of the caller appears on the screen with the option to cancel or answer.
There’s even a voice at the other end of the phone so that it sounds genuine.
As well as the default fake calls, you can also download extra excuses so that you’re not constantly repeating yourself.
You’re given the option to set a caller ID picture for your fake mum, neighbour or boss and can change the name to the name of your actual neighbour or boss so that you don’t get caught out.
It’s all very convincing, and although it may seem cruel to your date, it’s better than sitting there knowing the date is going nowhere and cringing through every awkward silence.
