Essex Girls Expect Most Expensive Gifts On Valentines Day
Four in five women in the UK expect a gift this Valentines Day indicating a simple card and flowers will no longer do and on average the women of Essex demand the most expensive gifts of over £100.
Females from Liverpool are content with a caring gesture of £5 according to the survey and like love sick Hank Moody 43% of participants believed that if they were alone this Valentine’s Day they would phone their ex.
To celebrate the release of Californication: The Third Season onto DVD, Paramount Home Entertainment has commissioned a study about Valentines Day.
The extensive survey was undertaken by 1000 men and women across the UK to find the importance of this special day.
This survey reveals what they expect from their partner on that special night and what they are most likely to get up to if they are on their own.
The study found that:
On average 4 in 5 women expected to receive a gift this Valentines Day
- Majority of women in Essex expected the most expensive gifts worth over £100
- Majority of women in Liverpool expected the least expensive gift worth under £5
Like Hank Moody 62 % of all men expect to have sex with their partners on Valentine’s Day
- Followed by 52% of women
84 % of all men in Essex would consider breaking up with their partner if they did not receive sex on Valentine’ Day
- 61% of all women in Essex would also consider breaking up with their partner if they did not receive sex on Valentine’ Day
43% of participants believed that if they were alone this Valentine’s Day they would phone their ex.
27% of participants have turned their phone off on Valentine’s Day so they would not be tempted to phone their ex.
