Britain's Duchess of Cornwall grilled Damian Lewis over the whereabouts of his 'Homeland' character yesterday (16.10.13).

Camilla was so desperate to know what has happened to the 42-year-old actor's alter-ego, Nicholas Brody, in the US thriller series she took her opportunity to quiz him about the programme when she met him at and his family at the British Food Fortnight's Harvest Festival at Westminster Abbey, central London.

She said: "It's just getting very exciting. But where are you?"

He replied: "I am on the run, but wait and see."

Camilla also quizzed Damian and his actress wife Helen McCrory's two children, daughter Manon, seven, and five-year-old son Gulliver, about the show.

She asked: "Do you watch your dad on the telly? Are you allowed to watch?"

But the actor laughed and replied: "No, certainly not! Fortunately mummy is in 'Harry Potter' so they can watch that!"

Damian's family looked on as he read a special harvest poem written by BBC and Channel 4 sports poet Henry Birtles.

Following the reading, he said: "I think the harvest festival service and the harvest time of year is very special. I remember it from when I was at school.

"It's a good way for children to have a tangible connection to faith, and actually to understand you can give thanks to something that they see every day on the table."
