Prince Philip

Britain's Prince Philip has made it onto GQ magazine's list of best dressed men of 2014.

The 92-year-old royal was given the 26th place on the publication's annual list of male style icons for his immaculate attire and quintessentially British look.

The magazine stated: "[Philip] deserves yet another medal - for his services to classic British tailoring."

GQ Deputy Editor Bill Prince claims the Duke of Edinburgh's classic suits and well knotted ties are a look which the younger royals can admire.

He said: "Top-down management still rules among the royals, evidenced by the degree to which the Duke of Edinburgh's sons, grandsons (and who knows, great-grandson) hero-worship his time-honoured style."

The list was topped by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, who beat actor Tom Hiddleston to the number one spot.

They are followed by 'Sherlock' star Benedict Cumberbatch who takes third position, while Idris Elba came in fourth, and former 'Downton Abbey' star Dan Stevens took fifth place.
