Harry looking charming and on his best behaviour

When it comes to the perfect cruise, it seems that it’s the company that makes all the difference. Sure, you may be able to enjoy the entertainment, the food and the travel, but what makes it go from positively good to just perfect is the person you’re sharing your experience with.

A new poll has found that royal bad boy, Prince Harry is the number one choice of partner for British women to spend their dream cruise with. A bit of French food in the Caribbean with the Prince came out as the overall perfect cruise holiday for women, while men opted to share their cruise with TV beauty, Holly Willoughby.

Strip poker with the Prince may have hit the top spot, but the runners up weren’t bad either. How about a game with Golden Balls, David Beckham or a frolic in the sea with Oceans 11 star, George Clooney? Maybe a bit of rough and ready with Bond himself, Daniel Craig? Or you might fancy an adventurous night of discovery with the number five choice, Johnny Depp.

The poll conducted by BonVoyage.co.uk also found that while men’s top choice was Holly Willoughby, they also wouldn’t mind some sweet dreams with Beyonce, a few saucy snaps with Kelly Brook, a right royal night with Pippa Middleton or a more than friendly night with the queen of 90s TV, Jennifer Anniston.

Without the option of cruising with a celeb, half of people said they would take their best friend over their partner and only a fifth would consider taking a family member.

Steph Curtin, Cruise Development Manager of BonVoyage.co.uk, said: “A cruise makes such a great holiday because it offers a huge variety of choices, from the destinations and length of the cruise to the food, activities and entertainment onboard.”

“Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that Prince Harry will be on your cruise but celebrities have been known to cruise so you never know who you are going to bump into on-board.”
