Make sure you never over-pack again

When we are packing for a holiday, we often struggle with light packing and we end up packing the majority of our wardrobe. We've all been there. However now is the time to stop cramming everything in to your case and pack the right way this holiday.

Check the weather report
Before you jet off to that exotic destination, it is important to check the weather report for the time period you are going to be there. So if it's going to be 30+ degrees, ditch the trousers and pack your favourite shorts and vest tops.

Go small
It is unlikey you are going to need full sized bottles of deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo and other toiletries and many supermarkets offer travel sized bottles. Buy these as they take up less room and it allows more space for other things.

Pick out your favourite shoes
Shoes can take up a lot of room so it is important to pack sensibly. I would recommend packing two pairs of shoes that will go with any outfit.

Take advantage of the hand luggage
Hand luggage can be taken on to the plane so if you are struggling with room in your case, I would suggest that you pack an extra bag for hand luggage. It will also make your case lighter.

Leave your electronics at home
Unless they are essential, you should leave your electronics at home. You are going on a carefree holiday and by taking your laptop, you will constantly be worrying about your homelife and will not be able to enjoy your holiday to its full potential.
