Kara is excited for the Olympics

Join thousands and get virtual face painting with family and friends in preparation for the Olympic Games.

Kara Tointon has joined forces with Panasonic, Official Audio Video Equipment Partner of the London 2012 Olympics Games, to launch their brand new Flag Tags app.

The Facebook app allows users to virtually paint their face with their team’s flags to show their support during the Olympic Games.

The former Eastenders actress is urging the country to get behind our athletes at this summer’s Olympic Games.

Kara said: “I’m delighted to be a part of the Panasonic Flag Tags campaign to get people supporting Team GB. I’m really excited about the Games coming to London and am so proud that we’ve been chosen to host such a prestigious event.

“Face painting is a great way of showing your patriotism and I had such a laugh playing around with painting the Union Jack on my face.

“With my boyfriend Artem being Russian, I may need to make one half of my face a Union Jack and the other half a Russian flag!” she added.

Gaele Lalahy, Digital Communications Manager of Panasonic UK, said: “As Official Audio Video equipment partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games, we can’t wait to see all the weird and wonderful ways people will show their support for their team. Our specially created Flag Tags app is a simple way of helping people show support for their favourite team by painting their nation’s flag on their face and sharing it with their friends.”
