The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge struggled to speak for nearly half a week after attending the talent show host and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett's nuptials earlier this month.

Speaking on 'Lorraine' to stand-in presenter Christine Lampard, who also lost her voice at the bash, Alesha said: "I lost mine for three days, Christine.

"It was all that MC-ing."

Christine replied: "Well, at least you had an excuse.

"It was just me generally talking."

But Alesha said her voice was struggling before she took over on the microphone at the ceremony.

She said: "I actually lost my voice before someone pushed me onto the microphone, and that was the final nail in the coffin.

"It was amazing though, wasn't it?"

Christine said: "It was just brilliant. What a day."

TV presenter Christine - who is filling in for Lorraine Kelly on her titular breakfast show during the summer - previously revealed she was struggling on the programme a few days after "screaming over the music" during Ant and Anne-Marie's big day.

She said: "It was a beautiful ceremony, beautiful wedding, and clearly an even better night-time party.

"Because not only was I screaming over the music talking to everybody, but I was obviously singing as well."

Christine - who has kids Patricia, two, and five-month-old son Frederick with her husband Frank Lampard - admitted her voice wasn't in a great place the day after the wedding, but fortunately it came back a day later for 'Lorraine'.

She said: "The voice went yesterday. It's slowly coming back today, but if I lose it completely that is why.

"I'll be sensible all of this week, I promise."

The wedding reception was held at Heckfield Place, a luxurious Georgian mansion in south east England.

Ant - who was previously married to 'Strictly Come Dancing' make-up artist Lisa Armstrong - proposed to Anne-Marie at home on Christmas Eve 2020.
