The 37-year-old singer is keen to carve out a career across the pond and has been having "productive" discussions with US TV producers about hosting her own talk show to rival Oprah.

Speaking to the RadioTimes.com, she said: "I am having some productive meetings - most meetings in America are. One day I would like to have my own chat show. Oprah is my idol because she uses her platform so responsibly."

And the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has even hired a voice coach and has been undergoing acting lessons to boost her chances of success stateside.

She explained: "I have got a new voice agent and I am also looking at some acting. I would like to set myself some new challenges. I am constantly thinking of different ideas and formats for TV shows. I am in a place where anything is possible if you want to do it."

But, for now, the brunette beauty is currently tied up with her judging gig on 'Britain's Got Talent' after she returned to the panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, earlier this month for the fourth year running.
