The 51-year-old star took to Instagram to unveil the patriotic gown to her 1.8m followers on Friday (03.06.22) evening as she posed in front of London landmarks to honour Queen Elizabeth II's 70 years on the throne.

Alongside the post, she wrote: "GB @bgt Happy Platinum Jubilee!"

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who has daughters 16-year-old Lexi and 10-year-old Hollie her husband Chris Hughes - was inundated with comments from her fellow stars who applauded the bold look.

'Loose Women' star Katie Piper wrote: "Amazing!" and emblazoned her comment with a series of clapping hand emojis, while fellow presenter Vanessa Feltz labelled the dress as "Lovely" and Lisa Faulkner approved of Amanda's fashion with a series of heart eye emojis.

Amanda is is set to return to the judging panel on 'Britain's Got Talent' alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon for the grand finale of the ITV talent show on Sunday (05.06.22), which will see one of ten acts receive a £250,000 prize and a spot at the 'Royal Variety Show' in December 2022.

During the auditions stages of the show, Amanda pushed her Golden Buzzer - which sends an act straight through to the live semi-finals - for US born singer Loren Allred after her performance of 'Never Enough' from 'The Greatest Showman.'

Loren - who originally provided the vocals for the song for the 2017 blockbuster 'The Greatest Showman' and had her voice mimed to by Rebecca Ferguson - made it through to Saturday's final but recently claimed she feels like she has "already won."

She said: "I have got some big competition on 'Britain's Got Talent' so I'm just excited to see what will happen. But I already feel like I've won!"

The grand final of 'Britain's Got Talent' will air on Sunday 5 June on ITV from 7:30pm, where Loren will battle it out against fellow singers Maxwell Thorpe, Tom Ball as well as comedians Axel Blake and Eva Abley, musical duo Flintz andT4ylor, dance group 5 Star Boys, poet Aneeshwar Kunchala, impressionist Ben Nickless and ventriloquist Jamie Leahey.
