The series, for the first time, will see how the riders and teams live, how they prepare for and compete in the championship’s races of the 2021 season. The docuseries will launch only on Prime Video.

Eight 50-minute episodes will offer exciting and unparalleled access to both the training sessions and pit lane boxes the riders go through, as well as a unique insight into their personal side of the challenge.

The show will be produced by The Mediapro Studio, in collaboration with Dorna, following in the footsteps of other Prime Video sports productions, such as FernandoSix Dreams, or All or Nothing.

The executive producers of the Studio are Laura Fernández Espeso, Javier Méndez and Bernat Elías, and the directors are Arnau Monràs and Jaume García. The Mediapro Studio Distribution will market the broadcasting rights to the series.

Audiences will be able to see riders such as Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda), the icon Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT), the current champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), the new sub champion Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo team), or the 2020 champion, Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar), among others, including an important presence from team directors.

Many of the riders viewers will be seeing, come from various different racing teams and offer special looks into the daily challenges they face in the motorsport world, which can be intensely tough.

Audiences will be treated to exclusive footage of the riders’ daily lives, and the series will showcase the inspiring stories of these determined stars with exciting futures ahead of them, in addition to highlighting the veterans that will be leading the teams.

For the very first time, audiences will get an intimate, close look at the adversity faced by the riders and teams during the season, both on and off the track. Viewers will also see what it takes to be involved in one of the most esteemed competitions in the two-wheeled world.

“Moto GP is a demanding, impressive and highly followed sport and we are certain that this Amazon Exclusive production will not disappoint its fans”, stated Barry Furlong, VP Prime Video EU.

“We are excited to continue Prime Video’s collaboration with The Mediapro Studio,” continued Furlong, “to create quality content with top stars from the sports world”.
