Sienna Blake was shockingly stabbed by her daughter Nico Blake (Persephone Swales-Dawson) - who was unveiled as her mother's stalker earlier this week - in last night's (15.05.18) E4 episode, and Anna admitted she has enjoyed "every moment" of portraying her alter-ego.

She tweeted: "What an episode @Hollyoaks

This past five and a half year's journey has been a wild one for our Sienna and I have loved her in every moment!

So much love and thanks for everyone that came along on that journey with us! (sic)"

Viewers watched on as medics tried to save Sienna in hospital but she went into cardiac arrest and didn't pull through, with policeman Josh Bradley (Rupert Hill) revealing the tragic news.

A flash forward episode in February showed Sienna's funeral, leaving Anna "anxious" about her future on the soap.

She said at the time: "Honestly, I don't know. I wasn't involved in the filming of that [Sienna's funeral], so they're keeping very, very tight-lipped on that.

"So, genuinely, that makes me feel as anxious as everybody else I think."

However, some fans aren't convinced Sienna is actually dead.

One wrote on Twitter: "Deffooo think Sienna isn't really dead in Hollyoaks in a bid to get Nico caught once and for all!! #hollyoaks (sic)"

Another posted: "Is she really dead though?! We never know with Sienna!! #Hollyoaks (sic)"

One tweeted: "I didn't think @Hollyoaks ever showed dead bodies on the screen...so does that mean Sienna (@MissPassey) somehow isn't really dead?! *she says optimistically* (sic)"

Before the dramatic episode, Anna admitted she was yet to watch her character meet her maker.

She tweeted: "I'm so happy you enjoyed last night's @Hollyoaks

Here's a little secret...I haven't been able to bring myself to watch tonight's Ep yet so I'll be watching along with you guys from behind a cushion (sic)"
