The 25-year-old hopeful - who was fired by Lord Alan Sugar on last night's (25.11.15) episode of the BBC One show - has admitted that although he and Joseph are the same age, he found it difficult to work with his fellow candidate at times.

David exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm not going to lie, Joseph in the boardroom, the way he talks ... He talks well and he talks strong in terms of the way he speaks. I wouldn't necessarily use the word forceful, but he's very strong and I think I might have been a little bit intimidated by that because I'm not used to that in every day life, so he was very hard to tackle."

The sports marketing company owner struggled to stand out among the bigger personalities, but he's claimed it's because he doesn't like to brag.

He explained: "If I can let someone else take the credit for something I will, as long as it doesn't affect the end result.

"But on the this particular task I should've sat back and let Joseph hang himself and Gary [Poulton] hang himself.

"Other people as well, Charleine [Wein] was very annoying. I've never heard someone say so much and so little in the same breath of air. Sometimes I find it hard to talk to people like that as well because no matter what you say, they're not listening."

'The Apprentice' continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
