Arlene Phillips with Pashley and Ashley

Arlene Phillips is inspired by Oprah Winfrey.

The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge thinks the US talk show host is a woman of "many, many talents" and she can't wait to check out her acting skills in new movie 'The Butler'.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I'm a big fan, a huge, huge fan. I think she's wonderful. I think she's a woman of many, many, many talents as well as being a real thinker, because she is.

"She is a wonderful actress. She's really quite special. I will definitely be watching 'The Butler'.

"There are lots of movies I've got lined up to see and lots of shows I've got lined up to see. I'm just getting round to them all having been away for quite some time. I'm trying to make sure that I've seen every show that's running, certainly every musical that's running."

The 70-year-old star is sure to have a lot on her plate in the run up to Christmas after becoming part of Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day campaign, which will see her sport her own festive knitwear and perform a step-by-step dance routine to Kelly Clarkson's new track 'Underneath The Tree'.

She said: "My Christmas jumper is navy with a snowman on it. On the actual event on the day I have two boy dancers with me, Pashley and Ashley, bizarrely. Their Christmas jumpers are red with reindeers dotted here, there and everywhere, and I'm in navy. We've already rehearsed, practised and taken photographs in our Christmas jumpers.

"Part of my eagerness to do this Christmas jumper campaign and to do the flash mob, to work with Save the Children and also with Save the Children on Poverty UK ... I want to continue my work with them and make sure that everyone is aware of what one needs to do, who we need to help and how to give."
