The 34-year-old model - whose former footballer father Paul Gascoigne was linked to the show last year - will take part in this year's 'Ballando con le Stelle', which means 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Bianca confirmed yesterday (21.09.21) she is in Italy for a "new adventure".

She wrote on Instagram: "Ci Vediamo

My new adventure begins in Rome and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Going to miss my family and friends loads but it be totally worth it.. wish me luck.. (sic)"

According to Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, Bianca will feature on the show alongside former Moto GP driver Andrea Iannone, singer Sabrina Salerno - who had a top five UK hit with song 'Boys (Summertime Love)' in the 1980s - and singer/songwriter Albano Carrisi, who is also known as Al Bano.

The new series of 'Ballando con le Stelle' - which is hosted by TV presenter Milly Carlucci - will debut on Italian TV channel Rai1 on October 16th.

Italy's 'Strictly' has another British connection in that head judge is Scottish choreographer Carolyn Smith, who has been a panellist on the show since 2007.

This comes after Paul's management hinted last year he was set to join the cast of 'Ballando con le Stelle'.

He is well known in the country after playing football for Rome giants Lazio in the 1990s.

In September 2020, M&N Management shared a short clip of the former England star - who is affectionately known as Gazza - showing off some moves while cooking.

They wrote in the caption: "Someone is practicing their dance moves ahead of Ballando con Le stelle

And in January last year, Gazza admitted he would be up for appearing on the programme.

He said: "They still love me because of my time playing there so I may give it a go."

While he didn't end up throwing any shapes on the dancing show, Gazza did go on to star in 'L'Isola dei Famosi', the Italian version of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' earlier this year.

But he was forced to drop out of the programme early due to a shoulder injury.
