The 59-year-old comedian - who is best known for his role in the Channel 4 sitcom ‘Black Books’ - will love to join the ITV reality show, but he couldn't deal with being "stuck indoors" for so long.

Asked about the possibility of joining 'Celebrity Big Brother', Bill told the Daily Star newspaper: "I tend to get on with most people and I’m always interested in hearing people’s stories and end up trying to figure people out.

"The only trouble with the ‘Big Brother’ House is you’re stuck indoors and wouldn’t be able to get out for a stroll!"

Bill won 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2020, and the comedian relished the competition.

He explained: "I took ‘Strictly’ on as a huge challenge, and what I realised very quickly – is that while you need to have a lot of physical rigour to practise the choreography so many times and get it into your body – what’s surprised me was the amount of concentration and mental strength you need to be able to pull the routine off on a Saturday night in front of a big TV crowd."

Bill also revealed he's kept hold of some of his eye-catching outfits from the BBC show.

He said: "I haven’t got any spangly outfits, but I still have my Zoot suit which I wore during my Rappers Delight performance.

"I have the shirt, tie and hat – and coincidentally the brand name of the hat was a Bailey so I felt I ought to keep it. The suit was also adjusted and fitted to me, so it fits perfectly."
