Bruno Langley

Bruno Langley has shot his first scenes for 'Coronation Street'.

The 30-year-old actor - who originally starred on the ITV soap from 2001 to 2004 - has filmed his debut returning episode with Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) today (27.08.13) after announcing earlier this year he would be reprising his role as Todd Grimshaw, the programme's first openly gay character.

Antony took to Twitter to tell his fans the exciting news, writing: "About to film my first scene with Bruno Langley.... #Toddo (sic)."

Before later joking that the pair had shared an intimate moment on his dressing room floor, he quipped: "Just had a roll-around with @brunolangley in his dressing room. I think he's going to have to redecorate... (sic)."

Bruno's return is set to cause a stir on the Cobbles as show bosses previously promised that his alter-ego will cause "heartache for more than one 'Corrie' resident", but Bruno is over the moon to be back in Weatherfield.

Todd said previously: "Right now seems to be a great time to return to the Street, as I have just moved back to Manchester myself, and it's going to be interesting to see if Todd has changed after being in London for so long, as I have changed as a person too.

"I would like to thank our producer Stuart for inviting me back, and it's definitely going to make me smile when the Grimshaw family are finally back together again."
