The former 'Waterloo Road' actress is devastated she's the first to be dropped from the adventure show, just two days into the survival mission, after she refused to march up a hill as part of their 12-day trek across the South African plains.

She said: "It was short for me! I struggled with the easiest part - walking! I just couldn't handle them big hills! I am kind of kicking myself now, as I know I could have done a better. But it is what it is. I enjoyed the time that I was there."

The 27-year-old star was joined by 'Dancing on Ice' judge Jason Gardiner, Neil Morrissey, Michelle Collins, Samantha Barks, former England captain Stuart Pearce and Alex Scott as they slurp their own urine, titter over a zip-line and eat a Mopani worm in a bid to survive the six-part adventure series.

Adventurer Bear, who leads the expedition, has admitted he had no choice but to ditch Chelsee after she lacked spirit.

He said of her departure: "She had some skills, it was great to see. But ultimately if her spirit is lagging on day one ... well you're going to die if you hang on. That's not a physical thing, that's about spirit. It's a big part of what I'm looking for."
