The 22-year-old former 'Love Island' contestant will appear at the Magistrates' Court on November 20 after she failed a breathalyser test when police stopped her last weekend in Crawley, West Sussex, following a boozy night out the before.

A police spokesperson told the Sun Online: "At 12.20pm on Sunday 5 November, police received a report of a driver suspected to be under the influence of alcohol leaving the Holiday Inn in Haslett Avenue East, Crawley.

"Officers located and stopped a silver Ford Ka matching the description of the vehicle reported in Hawth Avenue, and the driver was required to undertake a roadside breath test, which she failed.

"Chloe Crowhurst, 22, a TV employee, of Romford, Havering, was arrested and charged with driving with 50mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

"She was released on unconditional bail and is due to appear before Crawley Magistrates' Court on November 20."

And, although she didn't seem bothered when she appeared at the ITV Gala in London last night (09.11.17), her friend has revealed she feels bad about getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking and is just relieved nothing catastrophic happened.

The pal explained to the publication: "What she did was really stupid - she'd only had a few hours of sleep. She's lucky she was stopped just after she left the hotel otherwise something horrible could have happened."

Her run n with the law comes just a few weeks after it was rumoured that she'd rekindled her romance with Jon Clark following his split from Lauren Pope.

A source said recently: "They were at a holiday park with Chloe's entire family, including her mum, and were being openly affectionate - they were going to the bar together and Jon was chatting to Chloe's family and being really friendly."
