The 76-year-old TV presenter made more than 700 episodes of the ITV quiz show, but didn't watch himself back much, so he doesn't know why he would tune into the programme since Jeremy Clarkson took over the presenting reins.

Asked if he has watched the show since Jeremy took over, Chris said: "Do you know I haven't, I don't know why.

"I did 700 shows and I only watched two of them, so why would I watch Jeremy's [version]?

"I don't watch game shows. I watch Netflix, Sky Sports, dramas, that's it really. That's about 24 hours."

Chris Tarrant and his partner Jane Bird recently welcomed a Ukrainian refugee family into their home, after the country was invaded by Vladimir Putin's Russia.

The star has admitted having the family stay with him has "enhanced" his life.

Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', he added: I've got three [Ukrainian refugees] who live in my house.

"They've been with us since the beginning of the war. There's a mum, a daughter and a little baby.

"They've been with us now [for] eight months, I'm getting them a flat soon that I'm paying for or whatever, because I really want them to be closer to the city centre.

"They have enhanced my life these people. The baby ... I mean I know I've had my own kids but this baby is so sweet.

"She was seven months, now if she had stayed she'd be on the front of a tank or something.

"I mean the idea of what happened and how they got away is just extraordinary."
