Connor Ball is 'loving' Dancing on Ice, but admits it is 'tough'

The Vamps star admitted he is finding the ITV skating show "tough", but he is having "a lot of fun" at the same time.

He said: "I'm not a dancer at all, so 'Strictly' or 'Dancing on Ice' - I'm struggling.

"But it's a lot of fun. I'm absolutely loving it, but yeah, it's tough."

Connor is particularly grateful to his pro skating partner Alexandra Schauman for letting him lift her up, admitting he wouldn't "trust" himself if the skate was on the other foot.

He said: "It's a dangerous sport, and massive credit to my partner Alex. Because I wouldn't trust me.

"So the fact she's letting me lift her in the air and twirl her around, it's a lot of fun."

Connor also admitted he has been covered in bruises throughout his rehearsals, and takes a tumble on the ice on a daily basis.

Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', he added: "I'm falling every day, so it is dangerous.

"I'm coming out with bruises every day, but I'm getting up and getting in there."

Earlier this month, Connor said he was "quite nervous" about being fake tanned for the show.

He said: "I’m actually quite nervous about that. I hope I’m okay.

"I’ve never had a fake tan so that’ll be interesting. I’m down for a tan.

"I’m Scottish so I don’t get much of a tan.

"As for sequins - we wear sparkly stuff on tour anyway so the more sequins the better."
