'Coronation Street' and 'EastEnders' are having a schedule change for the next two Fridays.

Coronation Street

Coronation Street

On February 22 and March 1, viewers will have a change in the running order to avoid a clash thanks to a 'Corrie' special.

Rather than its usual 7.30pm and 8.30pm double bill on ITV - with 'EastEnders' in the middle on BBC - the Wetherfield soap will instead run for a one hour time slot, which means fans will be able to switch over to check in on the events in Albert Square as soon as 'Corrie' is finished.

It means viewers won't have to choose between the shows or rely on catch-up or recordings to watch them both.

It's not known how long the altered Friday night schedule will run for, as the guide beyond March 1 won't be confirmed until net week.

As well as those changes, 'EastEnders' fans will also be without the soap on Monday (18.02.19) as the Beeb will be running football coverage of Manchester United and Chelsea's FA Cup clash.

To make up for it, tonight (14.02.19) will see two episodes hit the air.

Similarly, only one 'Corrie' episode will air on Wednesday (20.02.19) due to the BRIT Awards airing on ITV.
