Dan Osborne has stated he'd like to have seen a longer romance between ex-girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh and The Wanted star Max George.
Osborne, who stars in ITV2's 'The Only Way is Essex' has insisted he didn't care when the pair got together, but admits he was disappointed that the former flame and hunky singer didn't go out for a longer period of time.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was hoping she was going to date Max for longer. It would've been nice for her.
"I don't know what happened there to be honest, I haven't spoken to her about it, it's none of my business.
"I wasn't shocked they got together. I was cool about it."
The 23-year-old star insists he still gets on well with the brunette stunner - who he split with after finding out he is going to become a father to another woman's child - but he wasn't "disappointed" when they broke up.
He added: "Me and Lucy get on well as friends. Yeah, we get on well.
"I wasn't disappointed we split. She's a lovely girl but everything happens for a reason. I've just got to crack on."
