Danny Dyer loves spiders.

The 'EastEnders' actor would never try to kill an arachnid if he found one lurking in his home because he gets too worried about what would happen to their families.

His daughter, Dani Dyer, wrote in her new book 'What Would Dani Do': "Dad is such a wuss he wouldn't hurt a fly.

"Definitely not a spider, anyway. He's convinced himself that spiders have family somewhere who would miss them if they died.

"'What if someone squashes a male spider and his wife is sat in her web in the corner of the room wondering why he hasn't come home for his supper?'."

And the 'EastEnders' actor never gets upset when he finds a spider in his family home as he thinks of them as "roommates".

Dani continued: "And he also sees spiders like his room-mates. If I clock a spider on the ceiling he will say to me, 'There's no point in killing your roommate, is there?'

"I just laugh at him when he's like that. He's such an absolute idiot sometimes."

The 'Love Island' winner admitted she used to get spoilt by her dad - who also has Sunnie, 11, and Artie, five, with wife Joanne Mas - when she was younger because he wasn't around much due to work commitments and his party lifestyle, so bought her gifts out of guilt.

And the 22-year-old star admitted she doesn't think Danny really "understood the concept" of how to be a father.

She wrote: "He was away a lot with work. And he'll be the first to admit this was the period in time when he was partying like mad and going off the rails.

"I don't think he really understood the concept of being a dad. But it also meant he felt guilty so he would buy me everything."
