Simon Cowell has granted David Walliams a pay rise.

The comedian has reportedly haggled a massive raise from the 'Britain's Got Talent' mogul, signing a three-year contract for a whopping £500,000 to remain on the show's judging panel.

When David first joined the talent contest in 2012, his contract was worth just £250,000.

Simon let slip the news of the 'Little Britain' funnyman's good fortune during the live auditions, when a 50-strong dance troupe called Funky Feet took to the stage.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, he told them their dreams of winning the £250,000 cash prize were futile, saying: "I don't understand why you would come on a show like this. There are so many of you. You won't make any money."

David hit back: "It's not all about the money, Simon."

Simon got his own back by slyly retorting: "Well, judging from the lengthy negotiations you've had over your new three year contract with ITV, it clearly is all about the money, David."

Meanwhile, TV's 'Mr Nasty' is expected to confirm his 'X Factor' return very shortly and he is said to be determined his flagship UK version "back to its best" this series.
