The media mogul stormed off stage during Thursday night's (30.05.19) semi-final when he was pulled up on stage during Jimmy Tamley's ventriloquist act, and while he abandoned the performance when the comedian tried to make him perform the can-can.

Poking fun at the awkward moment, fellow judge David - who was happy to take part - tweeted: "I think @SimonCowell is traumatised for life. @BGT"

Although Simon returned to the stage to complete the act - without the dance routine - he didn't seem happy.

Amanda Holden said: "It's like you know when your boss is forced at the Christmas party to get up and do some dancing? It felt like that, it was Simon's worst nightmare but it was very entertaining for the rest of us."

Her co-star Alesha Dixon suggested Ant & Dec might have been a better option for the guest spot, while David joked that the awkward moment could define Simon's legacy.

He quipped: "This will be all that Simon Cowell is remembered for."

Jimmy didn't make it through to the final, with magician Ben Hart and singer Mark McMullan crowned the victors during the fourth live semi final.

Magic man Ben won the initial public vote which meant he went straight through to the final, while Mark was left battling it out against comedian Graeme Matthews in the judge's vote.

Whilst Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden voted to send Mark through to the final, David Walliams wanted to see more of Graeme, leaving Simon Cowell to make the deciding vote, where he chose to vote for Graeme and sent the result to deadlock, meaning the original public vote would decide the second finalist.

The public had voted for Mark in second place shortly behind Ben, so he will now perform again on Sunday in the live final.

Ben and Mark will join Wednesday's semi-final winners, elderly singer Colin Thackery and comedian Kojo Anim, as well as comedy singer Siobhan Phillips, teen magic group 4MG, police and dog duo Dave and Finn, and energetic children's choir Flakefleet Primary School, who have all already secured their place in the final.

Friday (31.05.19) will see the last two finalist announced when the last semi-final airs at 7:30pm on ITV.
