The 31-year-old pro is eagerly looking forward to this weekend and has promised it'll be as enjoyable as ever, despite having to work around coronavirus restrictions.

Dianne - who is partnered with The Wanted singer Max George - said: "I am so excited that we can put the show on. We [the cast and dancers] have been in bubbles.

"A lot of the professional dances have been pre-recorded and they are incredible. We are just being super, super safe. I hope people will love it. I think it is going to just be the normal 'Strictly' but with a few changes. It will have the same sparkle."

Dianne met her boyfriend Joe Suggs on 'Strictly' during the 2018 series, and she admitted to relishing spending time at home with the YouTuber during the lockdown earlier this year.

She told the Evening Standard newspaper: "Like the rest of the UK, we were in lockdown and I didn’t find it too bad. I had lots of things to crack on with and everything was postponed so we were all in the same boat.

"My schedule was hectic so it was a bit of a shock to the system to have so much time on my hands. But it made me really happy to be at home and be there."

Meanwhile, data recently confirmed that the launch episode of this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing' was watched by as many as 8.6 million viewers.

The show has been forced to undergo a series of changes in order to comply with coronavirus restrictions, but it still witnessed an increase on last year's opening show audience, which attracted 7.8 million viewers.
