The 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' stars are being eyed to take part in the ITV sporting challenge show in hopes the queens will add some glamour to the upcoming competition.

An insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: “Divina and Cheryl are two of the UK’s most recognisable drag queens and both have been approached about appearing on 'The Real Games'. Bosses think either of them could be a great asset.”

The divas rose to fame on the BBC drag competition - which is fronted by RuPaul - in a bid to be named the UK's first drag superstar.

Cheryl - whose act is based on former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole - finished in fourth place after losing a lip sync battle to Baga Chipz in the penultimate episode of the first series in 2019.

However, Divina was the runner-up behind The Vivienne, who was awarded a trip to LA to film her own television show 'The Vivienne Takes Hollywood'.

Also set to take part in the celebrity Olympic-style show - which is fronted by Holly Willoughby, Freddie Flintoff and Alex Scott - are soap star brothers Ryan and Adam Thomas, as well as their 'Love Island' star brother Scott.

An insider previously revealed: "The Thomas brothers have given the green light to taking part and now the casting team are working on getting new stars to come on and have a go."

The show will feature six male and six female competitors, who will battle it out in the athletics arena, the swimming pool and gymnasium.

Each episode will show the stars prepare to take on their challenges and show off their sporting abilities before coming to a grand finale where the overall winner will be crowned.
