The former England cricketer is open to being a part of next year's celebrity line-up on the BBC One dancing competition, but only if he was involved in a same-sex pairing, and he would particularly like to dance with professional dancer-turned-judge Anton.

Writing in his new tome, 'The Book Of Fred', the 43-year-old star said: "I can just imagine it, ‘Right, Anton, I’ll lead you, son.'

"I reckon I could pick him up as well, no problem.”

The dad-of-four - who has kids Holly, 17, Corey, 15, Rocky, 13 and 18-month-old Preston, with his wife Rachael - recently admitted he was worried he might be eaten by the Loch Ness monster while filming 'A League of Their Own Road Trip: Loch Ness to London' in Scotland.

He said: “I’d love to believe that there’s something in there. I love conspiracy theories like the Moon landings, Bigfoot, flat Earth, I love all this.

“When we got put in, you have in the back of your mind that there’s something down there, whether it’s a monster or a big fish or something prehistoric, I’m not sure. But I’m invested in it, me. It’s so deep there could be anything in there.”

However, Freddie admitted he wouldn't be too disappointed if he did meet his demise by the Loch Ness monster as he thinks it would mark a memorable death.

He added: “What a way to go, eh? I’d expect it in Preston town centre with a kebab on my chest.”
