The handsome actor - whose real name is Jacob Anderson - plays Grey Worm, the leader of Daenerys Targaryen's 'unsullied' army in the HBO series and was shocked because, despite giving the "worst" performances of his "life" when he went for the part, he still won the coveted role.

Speaking about loving being on the fantasy series, which also stars Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams and Kit Harrington - he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Everyone's really cool on the show so I'm really happy to be a part of it.

"It's good to see everyone doing so well... I literally did two auditions, probably the worst auditions I've done in my life! And I still got the part."

The 25-year-old hunk has a burgeoning music career and last month released his debut album 'You're a Man Now, Boy' and the hit single 'Bloodsport'.

But probed on whether he'll leave the show - or be killed off like so many before him - to follow his music career, he teased: "I just wouldn't choose. I don't think I ever need to choose. I think this is the thing, a lot of people think if you do two things you've got to choose one. But I think we should all do what makes us happy... I also want to write films."
