Gary Barlow turned down 'Celebrity Wife Swap' with Melinda Messenger.
The 'X Factor' judge was keen to appear on the Channel 4 show - which sees two star couples swap families, lives and partners for 10 days - but his wife, Dawn, wasn't happy about the busty blonde living with him for the programme.
Speaking on this weekend's 'Xtra Factor', Gary - who has been married to Dawn since 2000 - says: "In the years when I was having a 'rest' I got approached by 'Celebrity Wife Swap' and it was going to be with Melinda Messenger.
"I went straight to my wife and went, 'Babe, this would be amazing,' and she just looked and saw Melinda and went forget that."
The Take That singer also admits he doesn't enjoy hearing 'X Factor' wannabes performing his own songs during their auditions.
He says: "I can't make up my mind if it's really bold and brave or just stupid, I don't really like it."
'The X Factor' continues tomorrow (21.09.13) at 8pm on ITV. 'The Xtra Factor' follows at 9pm on ITV2.
