Gary Busey is being monitored round-the-clock by 'Celebrity Big Brother' bosses.

The 70-year-old actor - who underwent brain surgery after a motorcycle crash in 1989 - has concerned producers with his erratic behaviour, including talking to himself and claiming to have been visited by Patrick Swayze's ghost, so a doctor is on stand-by and he could be "pulled out" of the house if he causes further alarm.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "If it's felt Gary could be a danger to himself or others he will be pulled out."

A show spokesperson added: "There is a duty of care and a very robust process. There is a welfare team for the housemates before, during and after the show."

Earlier this week, Gary - who has rowed with fellow housemate James Jordan after making a gay jibe to the dancer - claimed to have developed a connection to the spirit world when he had brain surgery and insisted his late 'Point Break' co-star Patrick had "came right through" him recently.

He told housemates: "He came through me the other day ... Patrick Swayze's spirit came right through me ... and my father's spirit came right through me. I've been to the other side, after my death after brain surgery ... so I have a connection to that spiritual world.

"It's a divine connection. Nothing's bad unless you want it to be ... you got to take it the way it is or you won't get it."
