'Good Morning Britain' was plunged into darkness on Thursday (12.11.20) as the studio's lights failed.

The ITV breakfast show had to deal with a technical glitch as co-hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were left sitting in darkness, apart from the house lights, and the blackout occurred while the programme was airing a competition video segment with Andi Peters.
When the feed returned to the studio, Ben said: "We're not really sure what has happened.
"Alexa, turn the lights back on - no, that didn't work. You've got one light there!
"It's extraordinary this, because if we have a look at the studio, you can see how many lights we have - and not one of them is on."
Susanna pointed out that while the house lights were working, it wasn't ideal for television production.
She explained: "The house lights are on, like you're in a canteen. So, we have that kind of rather unflattering light."
One of the producers started playing the opening lines of Simon & Garfunkel's classic 'The Sound of Silence' - which starts with the words "hello darkness, my old friend" - and the presenters laughed.
Ben addressed one of the cameramen, saying: "If he looks up, can you see one of the house lights?
"That's not enough lighting for us - not at our age! Did someone forget to pay the bill? Oh hold on!"
The lights came back on, as Susanna wondered if they'd stumbled on solving the issue with a classic solution.
She quipped: "Yay! They're coming back on. Someone's turned it off and turned it on again."
Ben added: "And he said, 'Let there be light, and there was light.' "
Before everyone moved on, Susanna couldn't resist a comical dig, joking: "It's too bright now!"
