Gordon Ramsay is open to joining the BBC show

The 'Kitchen Nightmares' star has confirmed that he's open to the idea of competing on the BBC show and following in the footsteps of his 21-year-old daughter Tilly, who appeared on 'Strictly' in 2021.

Asked about the possibility on 'The Jonathan Ross Show', Gordon replied: "I would love to dance but I’ve got a huge problem - I’ve got size 15 feet.

"Tilly did it last year and she was amazing. I don’t know. Those dancers are amazing. I’d love to learn how to dance properly."

Gordon also has Megan, 24, Holly, 22, Jack, 22, and Oscar, three, with his wife Tana. But the TV chef doesn't know whether Jack - who is in the marines - will be at home for Christmas.

He said: "Jack is super busy. Oscar is getting excited for Father Christmas. We play tricks on him now where we get these phone messages literally from Father Christmas to get him to bed early or else you’re in trouble!"

Meanwhile, Gordon has also given fans an insight into his new show, 'Next Level Chef', which will launch on ITV1 and ITVX in 2023.

He explained: "It’s launching next month. It’s three amazing kitchens stacked on top of one another. Basement level kitchen, middle kitchen and top flight kitchen which is incredible.

"In the middle of these kitchens is this incredible platform and it starts from the top and works its way down to the bottom. The idea is you grab ingredients and cook your way to the top floor.

"The difference with the show is how quick you have to pivot. There is no set agenda or set recipes. You’ve got 40 minutes to cook this amazing dish."

'The Jonathan Ross Show' airs on Saturday (17.12.22) at 10.05pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
