The 33-year-old star has served as a professional dancer on the BBC Latin and ballroom show for a number of years but admitted that whether or not he will be on the series again, he admitted that it is "not [his] decision" whether he takes part or not.

In an Instagram Q+A, he said: "I get asked this a lot! I hope so, it's not my decision but I would love to!! Is the best show in TV and I am grateful to have the chance to be a small part in it."

Gorka has danced with the likes of former 'Blue Peter' presenter Helen Skelton, 'EastEnders' actress Maisie Smith and 'Loose Women' panelist Katie Piper during his time on the series but was eliminated second from this year's edition of the Saturday night favourite when he danced with Nikita Kanda.

The TV star has four-year old Mia and Thiago, six months, with former 'Hollyoaks' actress Gemma Atkinson and recentlt revealed he considered quitting his role on 'Striclty' because he didn't want to miss out on time with his family.

episode of 'Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind The Lens' filmed before the birth, Gorka said: "It's quite heartbreaking you know, to have to leave again a few days after Gemma gives birth and not be at home.

"In my head, it makes me think I want to quit and just be at home for the next three months, but at the same time, I need to do my job and work."

Gorka was in a similar situation with their daughter Mia, four, when 'Strictly' rehearsals clashed with her birth.
