The former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' winner - who stars alongside his son Jamie in new Sky show 'Redknapp’s Big Night Out' - admitted he even thinks he is "on TV all the time" and asks Sandra to switch it off, but he insisted working a lot keeps him "feeling young".

He said: "Sandra tells me to slow down all the time. I always seem to be somewhere, doing something. And I do seem to be on TV all the time, I’m always saying, 'Can you turn me off?'

"I’m not the type of person who can sit around the house doing nothing. I’m getting old, I don’t want to sit here watching TV all day, reading the paper, having my dinner, and going to bed.

"I love having lots of things to do, it keeps me feeling young."

The 74-year-old football manager - who is to make a cameo in 'EastEnders' this summer - has been inundated with work offers since he was crowned King of the Jungle in 2018, and he admitted Sandra often turns down the chance to appear alongside him in various projects because she is "really shy".

He said: "Loads of people started asking me to do stuff. I’m not an ambitious person but if someone asks me to do something I’ll do it, and the work piled up.

"Sandra’s really shy. Whenever I have to do something with her in it, she’ll say, ‘Please, I don’t want to’. I tell her I’ll give her half the money, but I never actually do. She’s still waiting for her share."

But one thing Sandra has been enjoying is boxing as part of her fitness routine, and Harry joked she quite likes giving him a right hook on the chin now and again when he holds up the pads for her.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he quipped: "She always wants me to hold up the pads when she’s training.

"She purposefully misses once or twice and hits me on the chin. I think that’s why she never argues. She’s waiting for the boxing so she can give me a right hook."
