Helen Flanagan had a spray tan at 1:30am because she looked so pale she couldn't sleep.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress got her aide to phone everyone she knew in a bid to fix her up with the emergency treatment, because she was so concerned about looking pasty next to locals when filming 'Celebrity Super Spa' in Liverpool the next day.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Helen is very self-conscious. She was in her hotel room and wanted to get a good night's sleep before filming her new show the next day.
"But she looked in the mirror and convinced herself she looked really pasty. From that point on she couldn't sleep.
"Finally her friend got hold of a girl called Nicole Francis -- but by the time she got to the hotel it was 1:30am. That didn't matter to Helen.
"They did the tanning session and she went straight to bed knowing she'd be looking her best next morning."
Following her early treatment, the 22-year-old stunner took to her Twitter account to thank Nicole and admit she is looking forward to having her next tan at a "much better time".
She wrote: "@NicoleFrancisSP @lip_couture Darling thankyou so much for my spray tan at 1.30 on Sunday you ledge xxx loved my tan
