It was reported the couple have decided to go their separate ways but the former 'EastEnders' star has slammed the rumours and says they are working "together not against each other".

She wrote on her Instagram story: "I need some time. There is no split. There is no divorce. We are working together not against each other. Change your headlines please. Thanks."

It was previously reported that Jacqueline and Dan split, because the Covid-19 lockdown "magnified" their issues.

A source said: "Jac and Dan have had their fair share of problems for the past couple of years but obviously lockdown magnifies everything. There's still a lot of love there but quite simply, Jacqueline needs some breathing space.

"It's been an incredibly tense past few months and post-jungle Jacqueline has been in trauma dealing with all the speculation surrounding their relationship. Ultimately it's not healthy or natural for anyone to be cooped up for so long, especially when there are underlying tensions anyway. They've taken the very difficult decision to take a break from one another."

The I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' winner - who has daughters, Ella, five, and 22-month-old Mia with Dan - has reportedly moved in with her parents but hopes that she and Dan can reconcile in the future.

The source added: "They also didn't want the kids to see them bickering. They plan to reassess everything once the coronavirus madness is over. By splitting in the short-term, she hopes to save their relationship long-term."

Jacqueline and Dan have had a rough few years, as they coped with claims that the former reality star had cheated behind her back multiple times, but she later spoke out to insist things were on the up and it is "not like he's got away lightly at all".
