The 40-year-old star looks set to take over hosting duties on the children's interior makeover show - which has been fronted by former 'Hollyoaks' actor Joe Tracini since 2017 - alongside Meryl Fernandes.

According to The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column, Joe assume the role when the show returns to screens for its seventh series.

A description for the BAFTA Award-winning series reads: "With the help of expert designers and builders they create extraordinary children's dens; encountering design challenges along the way."

The new series of the show is set to premiere with an episode that sees a den created around theme of 'Strictly Come Dancing', with the team striving to create a fun space based around the BBC Latin and ballroom competition for a young super-fan.

The news comes just months after former 'EastEnders' actor Joe - who won 'Dancing on Ice' in 20202 - married 'Loose Women' star Stacey Solomon, 32, in July.

Stacey and Joe are parents to two children together, Rose, nine months, and three-year-old Rex, while the former 'X Factor' contestant has Leighton, 10, with her ex Aaron Barham, and Zachery, 14, with Dean Cox, while Joe is dad to 15-year-old Harry with his former fiancée Emma Sophocleous.
