The 33-year-old comic has landed his first solo presenting job with the ITV2 programme, which will see celebrities competing on behalf of members of the public to win cash prizes by answering tough question.

And if the stars don't know the answer, they shout 'Hello Tracey!' and Joel's digital personal assistant will call someone who may be able to help - but the contestants won't know who they are speaking to and can't tell the person on the line that they need information for a TV show.

A source explained to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "The concept is hilarious - it's like comedy cold-calling rather than phone a friend. The celebs could be speaking to anyone, from dog groomers to piano tuners to equine dentists in a bid to get the answer right.

"And they're not allowed to say they're on the show, they just have to say who they are to try and get the answer to win the cash. It could be seriously funny if it goes wrong."

Joel was recently seen on screen hosting 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' spin-off 'Extra Camp' alongside Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash, and he recently revealed filming the show is so exhausting, they all missed the wrap party because they fell asleep.

He said: "We filmed the last 'Extra Camp' of the series and then Scarlett, Joe and I went back to the hotel to watch a movie. And we fell asleep. We just slept. We were asleep.

"You film 22 shows back-to-back, every day. It's really mad. I wake up and go in and help write the script.

"Then I get in after and watch the next episode, but that's hard because they're not yet completed. It's hard to write about something that's not finished yet.

"The show is just a round the clock, military operation. But I absolutely love it. I just love what it stands for, I respect it so much and that's worth the 14 hour days."
