The BBC Radio 1 DJ was terrified before the trial - which saw him and Shane locked in boxes underground, which were filled with snakes, as they attempted to unlock 10 safes in the allotted time - but ultimately went through with it, with himself and campmate Shane earning a nearly perfect number of stars.

Before the trial, Jordan admitted: "This is my biggest fear, I’d rather do cliffs than this."

Whilst his campmates expressed concern for him ahead of the trial.

Giovanna said: "Poor Jordan, he’s so full of fear but I’m glad he’s not on his own, he has Shane."

Whilst Victoria added: "He was sick before the abseil … he did it, and I just think he’ll do this as well."

At first, Jordan appeared terrified as he tried to read the codes for Shane's safes, as well as focus on opening his own safes with Shane shouting instructions from the next door tomb.

After the trial, explaining how he got through it, Jordan said: "My brother said to me..."

Before Shane jumped in and joked: "Why didn’t you do Strictly Come Dancing?"

Jordan laughed and then continued, sharing his brother's advice: "My brother, who is a paratrooper said to me no matter how scared or cold you get to think of your happy place."

And Shane admitted he was nervous about doing the trial.

Speaking to the camera, he said: "That is the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done in my life … ever."

Whilst his teammate Shane added: "As soon as the vault closed I was expecting Jordan to say ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!'"

For winning nine stars, the duo and their campmates were delivered eel to eat with their rice and beans.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Beverly Callard, Vernon Kay and Jordan North would be taking part in the next trial.

'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here' returns on Tuesday (17.11.20).
