Kaleb Cooper thinks Jeremy Clarkson is still bad at farming

The ‘Clarkson’s Farm' star doesn’t “want to” give his Amazon Prime Video farming show co-star “too much praise” for his abilities in rural pursuits after they have worked together on Diddly Squat for three series and counting.

The 25-year-old TV star told Metro newspaper’s Sixty Seconds column: “He’s still useless. I don’t want to give him too much praise.”

Kaleb begrudgingly admitted that Jeremy had not only improved but that they had “learnt things” off each other as in exchange for farming tips, the ex ‘Top Gear’ star, 63, was mentoring him through the world of showbiz.

He said: “I hate answering this question because it pains me to say he’s not a bad pig farmer. Ok, he doesn’t listen very often, but I think we’ve learnt things off each other. I’m teaching him farming, hopefully, if he listens, and he’s teaching me the world of TV - and I’m grateful for that and what a great teacher to have on that road.”

The ‘World According to Kaleb’ author - who is engaged to his long-time love Taya after they welcomed two kids together, Oscar, two and Willa, six months - loves doing meet and greets with his fans as he is “just a really chatty person” and loves having a natter with anyone.

Kaleb said: “A lot of people chat away but one of the reasons I’m going on tour is that I just keep on talking and talking. I’m just a really chatty person and love speaking to people about what they do and where they live.”

He confessed that he would “be fine” with all the gross bugs on ‘I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out of Here’ - which is currently airing nightly on ITV1 - but would not like any programme featuring balloons.

Kaleb said: “I’m really happy with ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ but time will tell if I do anything else. I’d be fine with all the creepy crawlies on ‘I’m A Celebrity’. As long as there aren’t any balloons. Just don’t tell anyone that.”
