The 'EastEnders' star welcomed her second child into the world on Wednesday (03.02.21), weighing 6lb, and she admits both her and husband Matt Kay are "completely besotted" by the little one.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "Matt and I are so completely besotted with our early surprise and Dusty is so in love with her new baby brother! How lucky we all are."

Back in September, Lacey - who also has 18-month-old daughter Dusty - confirmed her pregnancy.

Lacey - who previously suffered two miscarriages before giving birth to her daughter - said: "I was over the moon. I had an inkling I was pregnant, so I took the test at home and it was positive. We feel so lucky to be expecting our second baby, as it took so long to get Dusty."

Whilst Matt added: "When Lacey told me, I was so happy. Having Dusty was the best thing that ever happened to us, so to have another baby is only going to be amazing."

And Lacey - who plays Stacey Fowler on the BBC soap - admitted it was a "lovely surprise" to find out Dusty was to have a sibling and they felt so "lucky".

When asked if they were trying for long, she said: "No, we were lucky. After last time, we learned the best way was to have the attitude of 'if it happens it happens' - and then it did! It was a lovely surprise. It took so long with Dusty, but now they’re coming along like buses! After the heartbreak we went through, it’s a miracle to fall pregnant so quickly."

Matt added: "We didn’t know if it was going to take years again so it was an amazing surprise."
