Laura Hamilton

Laura Hamilton has been eliminated from 'The Jump'.

The 31-year-old TV presenter - who only gave birth to son Rocco 11 weeks ago - went head-to-head against Donal MacIntyre in the live ski-off last night (30.01.14) after she posted the slowest time in a bobsleigh heat.

During the live jump, both Laura and Donal opted for the medium slope, K24, but she was knocked out of the competition after the investigative journalist beat her by half a metre with 14m.

Laura said: "I'm really happy with everything I've achieved. I can't wait to cuddle my baby, Rocco."

Donal had been drafted in as a last minute replacement for Melinda Messenger, who pulled out of the competition after suffering concussion when she fell on the bobsleigh track.

Meanwhile, Sir Steve Redgrave sat at the top of the leaderboard with a time of 58.46, while former Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt came in shortly behind with 59.56 seconds.

However, Sir Steve wasn't present during last night's live show after he took a tumble earlier in the day while training for the ski cross course, resulting in him being badly winded.

He was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up, but is expected to return to the show tonight (31.01.14).
