Linda Robson thought she would be sacked from Loose Women

The 65-year-old star has been a regular panelist on the ITV1 lunchtime chat show for more than a decade but mistakenly thought a live broadcast of a competition segment in October 2022 was a rehearsal and after swearing out of confusion worried her time on the series would be up.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I've sworn a few times and thought I was going to lose my job. I once wheeled £1million in a shopping trolley with two security guards beside me. They told me it was a rehearsal.

"I said, Today is your last chance to win £1m in one go' and then said, 'I can't f****** see it' - meaning the autocue and we were live. They said as I didn't swear aggressively - I didn't say 'f off' to someone - I managed to keep my job."

The former 'Birds of a Feather' actress will hit the road with her daytime co-hosts like 'X Factor' star Brenda Edwards, former 'Coronation Street' actress Denise Welsh and broadcast legend Janet Street-Porter as part of the 'Loose Women Live' tour when the show hits theatres across the UK in September and is "really looking forward" to it because she will not have to worry about her lanugage.

She added: "I'm really looking forward to 'Loose Women' Live' I've got 11 out of 17 shows to do. There will be four 'Loose Women' on the stage and one guest every time. We're all picking our own walk-on music and I'll be allowed to swear!"

Other panellists who will be part of 'Loose Women Live' include Sun columnist Jane Moore, former 'EastEnders' actress Nadia Sawalha - both of whom featured as original panellists on the show's very first episode in 1999 - as well as 'Ackley Bridge' star Sunetra Sarker, comedienne Judi Love and former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge.

Loose Women editor Sally Shelford said: "We’re delighted the show is hitting the road for the first time with 'Loose Women Live'!

"Having a live audience is such an important part of' Loose Women' and we can’t wait to be able to bring the show directly to our viewers in this way."
